Our people are the backbone of our organization and the awards program is a chance to recognize the individuals at C&W Services who create exceptional experiences for our clients and employees, and who make us the company we are today. So we’re thrilled to announce the winners of the 2021 Chief Executive Awards, the Michael Dunn Humanitarian Award, Region of the Year, Region of the Year – Safety and Salesperson of the Year awards.

Sara has provided tremendous value to the team, organization, and clients served. She’s built critical infrastructure for operations and bridged process improvements to predict clients’ future needs. Sara is a passionate leader seeking ways to develop and promote her team. Above all else, she is a trusted advisor and committed to the success of the organization.

Sarah has built client confidence and relationships through her dedicated quality service delivery. She is the driving force behind providing exceptional customer service to clients and the leadership team. When we asked our client, “What do you value most about C&W Services?” our customer responded, “Sarah Morales, our account manager. She takes complete ownership of everything C&W Services does at the Cargill HQ sites in MN. Her communication and engagement are excellent, she has successfully taken on new functions that we’ve outsourced, and she has the confidence to tell me (and my manager) when our perceptions are not accurate.”

When the Kronos outage impacted over 40,000 employees’ paychecks at C&W Services right before the December 2021 holidays, the Regional Liaisons stepped up and supported the process until Kronos resolved in February 2022. In addition to their regular responsibilities, they also fielded questions and inquiries to solve employees’ paycheck. Each of the Regional Liaisons performed admirably, maintained decorum, and showed an incredible amount of resilience.

George embodies the C&W Services values through positive reinforcement and leadership coaching qualities. He is passionate about growing his janitorial, office, handyperson, and painting team. George receives glorious accolades of client praises in safety and operations.

In his 20-year career at C&W Services, Jeff embodies strong company ethics and accountability in each step. His client retention and financial acumen are outstanding, but one of his biggest passions is sitting on the C&W Services Diversity Council. As a Council member, Jeff promotes and lives diversity, equity, and inclusion to identify ways to improve the diverse culture.

Erika is not only a jack (or jill) of all trades, she is the glue that holds the East Region together. She has received several outstanding compliments over the years for her work in finance, including pricing and costing new opportunities. She is a whiz with reports support teams and clients, but overall she is a role model employee; dedicated, loyal, and extremely hard working. Her passion expands further as a member of HOLA (Hispanic & Latino Advancement), a Cushman & Wakefield program committed to attracting, developing, and growing the Hispanic and Latino community by providing an inclusive and connected platform for all employees to benefit.

During the Kronos outage, which impacted thousands of employees’ paychecks, a taskforce team was formed that took on additional responsibilities to mitigate the impact on our employees. This team helped with the implementation strategy to help and navigate through the outage in a short amount of time. Teams reviewed data validation, audit, and corrected adjustments to ensure the month and year-end client invoice was successful, employees paid correctly, and the company made whole. Throughout the hectic holiday season, everyone on the team, without hesitation, jumped right in to speed up the process.

Tim is one of the most dedicated, reliable, and always willing to help employees. He is one of the most well-respected individuals and attorneys for his efforts in stepping in with both feet to aid in exceeding clients’ hard deadlines and guiding our operations through difficult times.

Michael Dunn
Humanitarian Award 

Introduced in 2020, this award is inspired by Michael’s commitment to the community and recognizes an employee or group of employees who have demonstrated exceptional support for local charities and community projects.

Kris is very involved in the Relay for Life organization, which raises money for the American Cancer Society. Last year, her Relay for Life event raised over $11,000. Her team usually ranks number 1 in the Omaha Metro area. She also raises money for the local school, post prom, recognizing the importance of keeping young adults safe. In addition to her external affiliations, internally with her team, she promotes weight-loss contests and healthy eating habits at C&W Services. She is one of the first to help others in need. Kris utilizes her talents and skills in her community and at C&W Services to help others in need.

Salesperson of the Year

The salesperson of the year award goes to the salesperson who achieved the highest annualized new revenue and percentage of quota.

Bill is an exceptionally talented member of the Business Development team winning this award for the second year in a row. In 2021, he produced the most annualized new revenue and has developed outstanding relationships while working hard to understand client needs and solutions to meet those needs.

Region of the Year — Safety

This award goes to the region with the highest demonstrated safety performance improvement in 2021.

Region of the Year Award

The Region of the Year award goes to the region that performs exceptionally, relative to expectations across ALL of the following key business areas: Revenue, Margin, Margin Quality, Cash Collection, Safety and Customer Satisfaction.
