Human Resources and Hiring Managers with direct influence in the hiring process are ready to answer your questions and ensure your time with us is well spent. 

Here’s what to expect at the Job Fair

A greeter will sign you in, and discuss positions and expectations with you: 5 Minutes

You will be asked to fill out an application: 30 Minutes

For technical roles, you’ll take a skills test: 40 – 80 minutes

An Interviewer will discuss positions and interview you: 30 Minutes

Shortly after the Job Fair, successful candidates will be contacted with a contingent offer. All offers are contingent on a Background Check, Drug Screen and where applicable a Suitability Assessment.

Working with our Customer, Amazon

  • We are in our 4th year of growth with Amazon. New facilities are being added to our portfolio continuously.

  • Working with Amazon means exposure to new and exciting technologies exist for our technicians: State of the art equipment, innovated processes exist for us to work with.

  • These are brand new, state-of-the-art facilities, and you will be on the ground floor during launch.

  • C&W Services provides all uniforms, safety shoes, personal protective equipment, and tools at no charge to our employees.

  • Formal training is provided for all employees.

Important Information about Hiring at New sites

  • Because we’re hiring for new sites that may not yet be open, your hire date may precede the site’s launch date. Launch dates may change, but will not affect your start date.

  • Upon hire you may be asked to travel in 2 week increments for training for several weeks prior to launch. Travel days are Mondays and Fridays, and you’ll be home for the weekend every other week.

  • Training will be at locations other than the site you are hired for – these may be at local hotels, other local fulfillment centers or out of town fulfillment centers.

  • If travel is necessary, travel arrangements will be handled by C&W Services at our expense.

  • Your location will not launch until after your training is complete – you will not be at your final location until the site launches.

  • If your site’s launch date changes, additional travel may be required to continue your training or to support other locations.

  • Once the launch is complete, it is anticipated that no additional travel will be required, but ongoing cross training opportunities, or advanced training may be available at other facilities.

About Shifts and Time Off Blackout Periods

  • Your work shift could be days or overnights.

  • Shifts are in general Sunday thru Wednesday and Wednesday thru Saturday.

  • Shifts are in general 4- 10-hour days

  • Your final shift may not be determined until Launch.

  • The Amazon environment can be noisy and fast paced requiring a lot of walking, stairs and standing. These facilities can have more than a 1.2 million square feet on multiple floors.

  • During peak season – typically Black Friday (day after Thanksgiving) through Christmas Day — overtime may be mandatory with no personal or vacations days approved during this period.

  • During Peak season an employee will be required to perform tasks outside their normal work routine (such as clearing jams of sorter line).
