C&W Services is honored to be selected as the new partner to maintain the Massachusetts State House in Boston. Adjacent to Boston Common along the Freedom Trail, the Massachusetts State House is one of the oldest buildings on Beacon Hill.
The Bureau of the State House selected us in a competitive bid to care for the historic structure, which houses the state legislature and the offices of the Governor. We’re proud to be part of the team entrusted with this icon of Boston’s architectural and historic heritage and also with many of the other landmark buildings and institutions that make Boston a great city.
Designed by Charles Bulfinch—the leading architect of his day—the building was completed in 1798. Samuel Adams laid the cornerstone in 1795, and Paul Revere coppered the dome in 1802. Day in and day out, the marble-floored corridors and grand rooms filled with art experience heavy traffic from public tours and the employees who work in the building. The C&W Services facilities maintenance team adapts to the specific needs of every building we serve to deliver a clean and safe environment and will continue to adhere to this excellence in the Massachusetts State House.
Our team maintains myriad facilities—whether it’s a brand new office space or buildings with rich histories, like the Massachusetts State House and the many other historic buildings we manage across the country, the C&W Services team is committed to making each client site shine.
