As President of Geographies, Matt is focused on service delivery excellence across six geographic regions: New England, Canada, Mid-Southeast/Government Services, West, Central, and Global Occupier Services (GOS). Matt’s regions encompass approximately 260 clients and 7,000 employees. His work emphasizes a united focus on safety, operational integrity, and client relationships across C&W Services. With a background in HR, Matt knows the impact of empowering people. He brings that perspective to leading operations on this expansive team. His mission is to create value for our clients and team members through services that put people first.
Matt took this role in 2023 after six months as interim COO. Previously, Matt worked at Cushman & Wakefield, where he served as SVP of Head of Global Business Services & People Experience. His role focused on organizational change and creating teams that yielded exceptional experiences for clients and employees. Matt is a transformational leader with more than 20 years of experience in public and private companies. He believes that data-backed insights and strong company culture can come together to uplift powerful teams and drive excellent service delivery.
Matt’s wide-ranging experience informs his unique perspective on leadership. Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, Matt was Executive Director of Global Employee Experience at SC Johnson, leading a global HR transformation, operating model redesign and technology upgrade in human capital data. Matt also spent 16 years at Caterpillar in various roles, including communications, manufacturing operations, talent development, Six Sigma, Shared Services, and HR Business Partnering.
Matt holds a master’s degree in business administration from Purdue University and a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Bradley University, where he also received the Lydia Moss Bradley Award for his service as a board member.
