C&W Services Speaker Spotlight

C&W Services Speaker Spotlight at the 38th International Maintenance Conference. Featuring David Auton, VP of Engineering & Maintenance, and Daniel Hubbard, Director of Technical Operations.

What if your maintenance team could stop wasting hours searching for policies, procedures, or preventative maintenance guides? Imagine having all the answers you need instantly accessible and aligned with your organization’s standards. On December 16, 2024, at the 38th International Maintenance Conference (IMC-2024) in Marco Island, Florida, C&W Services demonstrated how artificial intelligence (AI) makes this scenario a reality.

Breaking Down the Big Ideas

Facility teams often encounter challenges navigating organizational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), locating critical policies, or implementing preventative maintenance programs. On the day themed Competency Development, David Auton, VP of Engineering and Maintenance, and Daniel Hubbard, Director of Technical Operations, explored these challenges in their featured presentation, AI for Enhanced Learning and Information Access.

Their presentation asked a relatable question: “Can’t find that company policy, procedure, or playbook for a given scenario?” The solution is to leverage AI to provide quick, accurate answers that align with organizational standards. AI eliminates time-consuming searches, delivers critical information when needed, and frees teams to focus on higher-value tasks.

What Makes This Innovative?

David and Daniel’s presentation highlighted how AI empowers maintenance teams by:

• Delivering on-demand access to internal documents.

• Providing clear guidance for complex processes.

• Supporting adherence to company standards.

• Helping implement preventative maintenance programs more effectively.

By transforming how information is accessed and applied, AI helps organizations streamline operations, strengthen competencies, and empower better decision-making.
