One Year on the Job: Celebrating Milestones with Cara Collective

At C&W Services, we believe in the power of forging partnerships with social enterprise organizations that focus on providing inclusive employment. We are proud to work with Cara Collective, an organization with a mission to provide a pathway out of poverty for motivated job seekers through personal and professional training, job placement, and supportive resources.

This non-traditional approach to talent acquisition provides entry-level job seekers with job opportunities and training at C&W Services. Today, we’re pleased to highlight Justin, a janitorial employee who joined C&W Services through our partnership with Cara Collective. In May, Justin celebrated his one-year milestone on the job with C&W Services. Justin’s journey is a testament to his unwavering dedication and hard work. In an email to C&W Services team members and our partners at Cara Collective, Justin’s mentor wrote,

“Please help me congratulate Mr. Justin on making his year TODAY at C&W Services. Justin has been awesome to coach for this past year. He’s never missed a check-in with me, he always had amazing updates concerning his job as well as his personal life. In the past year, he’s only taken off work one time. That’s what I called dedication…”
