The final installment of our International Women’s Day series is about the opportunity for women in the facilities field. It’s an industry for problem-solvers and people who enjoy working closely with others. And it’s an industry full of opportunity. Of the 3.55 million people employed in key roles in the facilities services industry, an estimated 1.05 million are nearing retirement age in the U.S. alone.
To commemorate International Women’s Day, we asked colleagues from throughout C&W Services to weigh in on issues ranging from the importance of mentors, to succeeding in a traditionally male-dominated business, to their hopes for greater workplace equality in the future.
