Solving the biggest challenges in facilities services.

Given the fast pace of innovation in the facilities services field, it can be difficult to keep up with the latest best practices and technology. At C&W Services, we’re staying ahead of the rest of the industry by investing heavily in better tools and process; industry-leading facilities management experts; training and career development; and innovation programs.

C&W Services is a leader when it comes to janitorial innovation.

A recent research report from International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) outlined six “Super Challenges’ facing the facilities industry. The challenges the report identified aligned so well with our strategic plan for investment that we’ve used them as the jumping off point for our new Innovation & Insights newsletter.

The first issue of our Innovation & Insights Newsletter looked at budgeting and cost management. The second issue delved into organizational factors. And the third tackled the trade skills gap.

Improving engagement and productivity in facilities services

In 2016, Gallup showed that 42% of the workforce was actively looking for a new job, an indicator of disengagement. Additionally, Gallup estimated that each disengaged employee costs his or her company $2,246 per year. Given this, the benefits of a fully engaged workforce are clear.

Volume 4 of our Innovation and Insights Newsletter looks at potential solutions to this issue, including how the workplace can drive employee engagement and productivity through more specialized service delivery.
